1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading the CareerJailbreak desktop application, or purchasing a subscription or access pass, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

2. Nature of Service & Permitted Use

CareerJailbreak provides real-time artificial intelligence tools, audio transcription, system design blueprints, STAR behavioral frameworks, and ATS resume optimization for software engineers and technology candidates preparing for and navigating job interviews. The platform is classified as an interactive career simulation, interview coaching, real-time knowledge retrieval, and speech-to-text transcription service.

You are granted a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal license to use the desktop software and web application for your own individual career advancement. Account credentials and access keys may not be shared, rented, or resold.

2.1 Beta Release & Early-Stage Performance Variability

CareerJailbreak is an actively evolving, early-stage AI-powered platform. Certain features may be experimental, under active development, or subject to change without prior notice. As the platform utilizes generative AI models from third-party providers (including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google), response quality, speed, and accuracy may vary based on:

• Third-party AI model provider availability, rate limits, and API changes
• Your local hardware specifications, operating system version, and internet bandwidth
• Network latency, ISP throttling, VPN overhead, and geographic routing
• Concurrent system resource usage during conferencing applications (Zoom, Teams, Meet)

Advertised performance metrics (e.g., “sub-300ms latency”) represent optimal conditions and are not guaranteed. CareerJailbreak continuously updates its models, algorithms, and user interfaces, and some features may temporarily underperform or undergo deprecation during the evolution process. 3. 100% Screen-Share Invisibility Guarantee & Refund Terms

We provide an explicit, binding guarantee on our native OS capture-exclusion technology:

“If CareerJailbreak reported Stealth Armed for your session and the overlay still appeared on a recorded Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet screen share, our team will issue an immediate 100% full refund.”

Refund requests under this guarantee must be submitted within 14 days of purchase with verifiable session material (e.g. video snippet or timestamp). Detailed terms and claim procedures are set forth in our Refund Policy.

4. User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify CareerJailbreak immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

5. Candidate Conduct & Compliance

CareerJailbreak functions as an on-screen reference assistant and interactive career coaching tool, similar to dual-monitor documentation notes or a real-time knowledge base. You agree to use the software in compliance with applicable local laws, professional standards, and employment agreements. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary model endpoints or API routes.

5.1 User Compliance & Employer Honor Codes

You are solely and exclusively responsible for ensuring that your use of CareerJailbreak complies with your prospective employer's assessment policies, honor codes, non-disclosure agreements, and any applicable local, state, or national laws (including audio recording consent statutes). CareerJailbreak operates as a third-party career coaching and knowledge retrieval tool and has no contractual, legal, or employment relationship with your prospective employers.

CareerJailbreak does not encourage, endorse, or facilitate any violation of employer-specific interview rules or professional codes of conduct. By using the platform, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accept responsibility for compliance with all relevant employer and jurisdictional requirements.

6. Subscription Plans, Billing & Quotas

Paid access passes grant metered and unlimited service entitlements as described on our Pricing Page. Quotas are server-enforced and expire at the end of their respective billing terms unless renewed.

6.1 Recruiter X-Ray Profile Rebuild Service

The Recruiter X-Ray profile rebuild is a delivered advisory service included exclusively with the Pro and Mastermind passes. The Starter pass does not include profile rebuilds.

To initiate a rebuild, you must submit your current profile materials (such as a LinkedIn profile export, Naukri profile or resume, and target role posting) to support@careerjailbreak.com. We cannot begin the rebuild until these materials are received. Completed rebuild guidance is delivered within 3 working days of receiving all required materials.

The rebuild deliverable consists of custom written text and recommendations for you to manually review and apply to your personal accounts. The profile rebuild never asks for your password. We send you the exact changes and you make them yourself, staying logged in the whole time. Only the daily application service needs your Naukri and Indeed login, and only if you choose it. We never ask for your LinkedIn password.

CareerJailbreak provides strategic positioning guidance based on recruitment platform search practices. We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding recruiter response rates, interview invitations, or employment offers resulting from the use of delivered profile materials.

6.2 Managed Applications Service

The Managed Applications service is included on Pro and Mastermind passes. We apply to roles across Naukri & Indeed on your behalf, on your instruction, using access details you choose to submit through the secure intake form. The scope of service is: Every role that matches your brief, every working day.

We never ask for or accept your LinkedIn credentials. You may withdraw access or request the deletion of your stored credentials at any time.

Naukri and Indeed's terms do not allow anyone else to use your account. If they detect it, your account can be restricted or removed. You are asking us to apply on your behalf and you accept that risk. We will never apply to a role you have excluded, we store your login encrypted, and you can have it deleted at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the CareerJailbreak software, algorithms, prompt engines, UI designs, and documentation belong exclusively to CareerJailbreak. You retain all ownership rights in your own uploaded resumes, profile documents, and personal interview notes.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CAREERJAILBREAK INC., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Failure to pass any interview, assessment, or hiring evaluation
• Loss of prospective employment, salary, or career advancement opportunities
• Damages arising from service interruptions, latency, or AI output inaccuracies
• Any consequential damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to CareerJailbreak in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8.1 “As-Is” & “As-Available” Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS-IS” AND “AS-AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. CAREERJAILBREAK EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that defects will be corrected within any specific timeframe.

8.2 No Guarantee of Employment or Outcomes

CareerJailbreak makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees whatsoever regarding whether you will pass any interview, receive any job offer, achieve any specific compensation level, or attain any particular career outcome. Hiring decisions rest solely and exclusively with prospective employers and are influenced by factors entirely outside the scope of any preparation tool.

9. Governing Law, Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Mandatory Informal Resolution: Before initiating any legal proceeding or arbitration, you agree to first contact CareerJailbreak at legal@careerjailbreak.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of at least thirty (30) days. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through our dedicated support and compliance team.

Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration administered under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), with the seat of arbitration in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The arbitration shall be conducted in English before a sole arbitrator.

Class Action Waiver: YOU AND CAREERJAILBREAK AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
